nyc crew where to live

    flying up there tommorow to find a crib. where should i live. i'm gonna be working in queens mostly so i'm thinking forest hills. you guys know any sublets or spots in your buildings? craigslist is failing so far just got scam messages back and had to convince an angry owner that students can pay rent.

    1500 or less would be nice. 1 bedroom or studio

    1500 flyin solo you're gonna wanna look at bklyn/queens/harlem

    my friend lived in rego park in a cavernous 1br for only 1400... but it takes 35 minutes+ to get onto the island

    Astoria. It's getting more expensive, but you should be able to still find something relatively inexpensive and it's an awesome area.
