nyc cell provider recomendations..

    i have verizon, but their phones suck. suggest me a carrier to move to. or should i suck it up and stick w/ verizon and their shit phones?

    t-mobile and cingular usually have the coolest phones, with t-mobile winning out between the two based purely on the fact that they don't use 850 MHz towers, so almost any GSM phone will work on their network since the majority of all GSM phones in all markets work with t-mobile's single frequency, but a much smaller subset of all GSM phones have 850 MHz reception.

    i live a few miles (as teh crow flys) from the city and i love verizon. im still rocking a VX6000 though

    Stick with Verizon and get a better phone.

    thats what i have. i'm wondering if the motorola e815 will be any good. its the only verizon phone that i know of that looks worth getting.

    dont get cingular or ATT, rated worst service three years in a row now.

    If you're in NYC...Cingular will be a bar or two better than T-Mobile. Where I'm at, T-Mobile works best.
