The Botanical Gardens in NYC are a great place to shoot interesting flowers. I know flower shots are a dime-a-dozen but that's no reason not to shoot some more.

    Camera was my 10D w/ 24-70L.

I just getting back into shooting after a few years off and I've already had to relearn some things the hard way. Shoot more and not less. Especially with digital. It doesn't cost anything and now I'm kicking myself for having exposures left when I'm not 100% happy with some of my shots. I could have bracketed the exposures or shot more multiples.

It's very cheap to shoot an extra frame or two to get a better shot.
