I washed my mom's silver mercedes yesterday - she had to go somewhere in 30 minutes so I didn't have time to clay/DACP/SFP/EX-P it - which it needs - has alot of grime and swirls in it.

So I decided to slap on a coat of NXT till next month in the meantime

broke out the PC and used the white polishing pad that came with it since I had never used it - all my other pads had product already loaded in them.

I was amazed how thin I could work the NXT - it just kept getting thinner and thinner without drying on me. and the hood was pretty warm.

it really let me work it good

Then I lit it sit for 20 minutes or so and it came off like warm butter!

I have only used NXT by hand but man this stuff is made for the ole PC!

Can you get it in all the little areas with the PC, without getting wax in the badges, etc.?

tape - take all of 5 minutes to tape all the seams/badges/plastic trim then you can just tear it up with the pc and not worry about it

I agree that NXT works best by PC.

I have tried NXT on several cars, sometimes it work magic, other times it just seem like its just a normal wax. Great one stepper though.

Like others said, you can just tape the other areas off.

But, NXT dries so clear, and wipes off so cleanly, that if it gets into a nook or cranny, its not that big of a deal.

Im going to have to try NXT with my Beige (0 cut) Megs pad, and give it a try.

What speed you recemend scott? 4-5?

It is pretty good stuff, probably the best off the shelf wax.

It's been great for me on cars that don't require any type of durability (ie are garaged all the time and never see the elements)
