I'm using a couple of 100w bulbs of their daylight set and I gotta say it's an incredibly clean, bright white once they warm up.

Right now they're in a couple clamp lights for a light tent and they're kicking ass. Excellent poor-man's lighting.

I took a free intro to studio lighting workshop a few weeks ago, and the guy said something similar. Plus they don't get hot like standard bulbs. I've been meaning to head to home despot and get some hot lamps and some CF lights, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
