I can't imagine that anyone would recommend an AIW card for someone asking for video cards without knowing a specific need that required the AIW.

I have a 9700 pro AIW and I'll NEVER own another AIW card again. Driver support for the card has been shit every since day one. I finally had to stop using the AIW features and "fool" the card into thinking they weren't there to get the card to run even decent.

As stated... gonna need a budget and an idea of your usage to advise on a video card.

    Are you on crack?
The X1900 AIW is $220 and is almost as good as an X1900xt (~$300 at the least)
Secondly, i take back my question asking if you're on crack, you must be puffing opium or soemthing. ATI's AIW software is considered better than most capture card software.. just becuase you are using a 5 year old card doesnt mean that a newer card wont be better :hsugh:

My buddy does a lot of testing of new video cards, and even he says that the AIW drivers still suck ass.

As for the AIW software, it worked/works ok for the TV/capture software, but ruins most any chance of gaming with the card. Again, my card has been crap since day one. I'll never own another ATI AIW card. That's my opinion, if you don't like it, get the fuck away from my crack pipe and tell everyone all about your AIW card.
