I am currently making a computer (via www.cyberpowersystems.com) and these two video cards are the closest to my price range (and only 10 dollars differance) and I was wondering which one was better, in your opinion. I don't know very much about graphics cards. Here is their full titles:

    nVidia Geforce-FX 5600XT 256MB DDR W/ TV OUT & DVI

    and

    ATI RADEON 9600 PRO 128MB DDR AGP 8X W/ TV-OUT & DVI

If you want to go to the site and find any video cards of similar price that you consider better, feel free.

    Thanks!

bfg fx 5900 is my choice.

the 5600XT is more along the lines of a 9600SE aka really slow.

Review of a 256mb 5600, compared to a radeon 9600 pro, pro beats it in every test.

Theres a ton more reviews like that, thats the first that comes to mind

I'm sick of morons and brand fanboys who make stupid generalized statements such as that
