Heres the deal. I have a Ge-Force 512 MB 7300GT and I'm starting to notice the shittier and shittier framerates from it.

So i'm looking for something 512 MB for sure...but 8500GT or higher for sure.

I would love to keep it around $100.00 but am willing to spend $150.00.

I've got my eyes on the 8600GT @ tigerdirect right now:

What do you guys recommend? i just want better gaming, better framerates and alot of bang for my buck.

    Thanks.:wavey:

Monday is supposedly cyber-monday where there's going to be good deals like yesterday.

And yesterday, Microcenter had the eVga 8600GTS cards on sale for $99.

They do have online sales, but now that I think about it the hot deals might be in-store only.

I'm so used to having one near me that I didn't think about that.

I have a 7600GT OC... couple weeks ago I ordered the 8800GT which will match pretty much every thing a 8800GTX can. Do some reading on Tom's Hardware and try and find yourself one before the prices rise!

$230 is a good deal for a card with these capabilities.

    That looks pretty impressive.

When the new cards come out in January, we might see some great prices on this second generation 8800 stuff.
