    Looking for a good AGP graphics card for the 140-160 range, these seem to be the 2 best, which do you guys prefer? thanks

    any particular brand? i was looking on newegg and it seems as if there are 5-10 cards in the 150-160 price range, the Gigabyte one looks like it has a better heatsink/fan(copper) than most of the others?

    Leadtek tends to be my brand of choice since they are high quality and usually among the cheaper ones.

    Asus is also good.

    I don't know that any of the cheaper ones should really give you any problems. They are mostly going to be the standard nVidia reference design. PNY has a lifetime replacement warranty, which is kinda nice... not sure about others.

    thanks, i also noticed when looking at the cards, some of them say that the Memory Clock is 900mhz, others say 1000, should i only go with the 1000mhz Memory Clock Cards?

    Hell Yeah a lot better than 6600.

    3DMark03
    6600 = 5,000+
    6600GT = 8,000+
    6800 + 9000+

    The 6800LE is nothing but a 6800 Ultra with half of the pipelines DISABLED. So instead of 16, there are 8.

    HOWEVER - You CAN softmod it to an Ultra. The issue is, it may not softmod.

    If it doesn't take, you'll see severe image artifacts and fractals in-game. To undo the softmod, you simply tweak a few settings.

    And you can always exchange it, if you want to.
