I've been using Fitday.com for a while, and it's ok...but is there a better one out? Fitday is slow, and occasionally I'd like the ability to just quickly pop in a carb/prot/fat calorie count for a cheat meal or for something I don't eat every week, rather than going through the steps to create a custom food for it.

I know I could just use a spreadsheet, but I want it to be accessible from anywhere and would prefer for it to do all the charting, journaling, and auto-calculations that fitday does do well.

Holy shit. This looks like it kicks the shit out of fitday. It has everything in here. Wow. Very impressive.

yeah it's a lot more "social network" based, but that makes for more foods/easier to use :dunno:

Social networking or not, I'm tired of Fitday saying it can't find really rare things like "bread" in its massive database. This one even had protein powders in it.

Daily Burn doesn't have an app but they do have a mobile iphone site that you can make a homescreen bookmark to. Works great. http://dailyburn.com/iphone

That's great alternative but I rather have it load instantly w/o waiting for it to load and for places with no net access like my work.

I played around with it for five minutes and found a lot of the foods I usually eat already in their database... pretty sweet! Will have to give this a proper run!

Signed up on DailyBurn and moved all my stuff to it. It even had the weirder shit I eat in their database. Fitday, you really don't know what Diet Coke is? Really?

The only thing I don't like about dailyburn is that it doesn't have a convenient way to group foods together or look at food you eat often. You can do both with recipes and favorites, but recipes can be edited by other users and you only get 20 favorites. Other than little things like that it's great.

LOL, no I know better than sodas. Been off of them for about 6 mons now. It's just one of the more common things that I would kinda expect to be there. I started with just my regular veggies and a kinda lean steak I eat, with neither having results. Okay... well, I'll try something more normal. Diet coke. No results found.
