I see a lot of people doing things like this

    meal 1
    6 eggwhites 2 yolks
3/4 cup oatmeal water or 1% milk
    one scoop whey protein
    meal2
    can of tuna
    1/2 cup rice
    light italian dressing(olive oil)
    meal 3
    6-8oz chicken
    5oz sweet potato
    1/2 cup green beans
    1 tbsp peanut butter

but I generally just eat like this where I'm not really focused on combining protein, carbs, and fats. Is this bad or does it not matter?

    Meal 1

    tuna sandwich

    Meal 2

    shake with milk

    Meal 3

8 egg whites 2 whole eggs

    Meal 4

    Smart ones: Lasagna

    Meal 5

    Shake with milk

    Snack

    string cheese

    Two questions :
What are the macros like ?
    Does it work ?

Only the second one is important though, the first one is just for curiosity and might be needed if it doesn't work. You should know the breakdown if you want to change something.

Well, I really only track protein, but for the day I listed it was 2000 cals and 252 grams of protein. I generally average about 2000 cals and 200 grams of protein.

It seems to be working pretty well. I'm dropping bodyfat quickly. However, I don't have a shitload of energy in the gym.

try to get some carbs right before you go to the gym, then... a piece of fruit or something usually works pretty well for me if i'm feeling sluggish

On the topic of nutrition - I just went the past two days on like a 1400 calories a day and felt awesome. It wasn't on purpose - just wasn't really hungry. today for some reason it deffinately caught up to me and couldn't get my heart rate up at all.
