Do you guys maintain the same diet on rest days as you do on days when you work out? This is geared towards skinny fucks like me trying to make clean gains.

i eat a pretty substantial amount all day every day.... I might take in a little less whey on days I'm not lifting because I don't need a PWO, but other than that it's all the same.

    .

Unless you are dieting....then you can make some additional calorie cuts on off days.

    exactly.

Instead of eating less on Rest days, technically I eat more on lifting days. I eat 100-150 caloreis more on lifting days, as these will be expended during cardio/lifting anyway.

Those extra calories are typically all carbs.

    Abomb....:squint:

I would usually try to eat a little less on rest days. Or as neutri said...more on workout days. Depending on what I'm working....like legs I may even eat more on that day then say on a day I was just working arms. Many ways to go about it.

for someone trying to bulk, what is the logic behind eating less on rest days?

Similar to the concept of nutrient timing on a larger scale.
So not necessarily going below maintenance either on rest days... maybe maintenance and but quite higher caloriewise on workout days.

Instead of straight 3500 calories regardless of training day or not on a 3 day on/ 1 day off program... 3600-3800 on training days and 3000 on rest days.

My saturday dinner is my cheat meal. Usually a 1000 calorie meal

    Mostly protein though :o

i don't have such a thing as a cheat meal but if I'm gonna pig out it's usually like 1500 cals and all from fat and carbs (think cheeseburgers, fries, and soda)... then i dirnk a protein shake on top of it to fool myself into thinking I will come out with an ok macro in the end  not that it matters for my sorry noob ass anyway.
