I have a couple friends that want some help with their diet. Goal is to cut fat. They will also lift weights as part of their routine. Everything i have read works for men but not sure if its optimal for women. Looking for input on these two areas... Daily Calories Is the BMR method a good enough way to determine daily caloric needs? How about the Bodyweight X Multiplier method. Example: Bodyweight x 12? Macro Breakdown I figure women will differ from men in this area. How should the macro breakdown go? 40/40/20 or 50/30/20 good? Do they need more fats than men?
