Is there a place in the menu to check out the exposure count on the body in its lifetime? Google and the manual don't help for shit :(

i just told it to increment every photo by one... I'm up to like 2000 something

Even if I format a disk or whatever, it still keeps incrementing the number :dunno:

Someone can probably tell you the name of the program that'll read it, but the actual shutter count is written to raw files (and maybe jpeg too? dunno if its actual exif data or not, but most apps wont read it).

I've noticed that my camera will keep a sequential number on a memory card, even if the card is formatted, but if I use the computer to take the picture and it stores to the computer, it starts out with 0001 and doesn't count those on the numbers next time I use the card in the camera :hs:

There is an option on the D50 to keep the count. I know mine isn't a true reflection of the count though. Good to know that it could be embedded in the raw file. I'll search Google for that a bit.

Yeah, it's in the EXIF. Find it in either Photoshop or Opanda for sure.
