modded gt-r got raped.
Holy shit. Owned everyone.
holy shit that nsx is fast
He was haulin' too... haha
In case anyone is confused..the camera was in the GTR, not the NSX. NSX comes later in the video...
fukn GTR was fast too..
NSX was faster
it comes in from behind, overtakes, and then just disappears.
that thing was gone
You guys are missing the point.
That NSX is a dedicated JGTC race car. The Mines Skyline is not. It's simply their version of a highly tuned street car, built for responsiveness.
so is the GT300 and obviously it got spanked
It had no problem making short work of that JGTC GT3, granted the NSX was GT500 and the GT3 was GT300
you mean GT3 and
Right, which is my point.
People are like "omg" that the NSX is so fast, because it passed the Skyline. The Skyline's level of tune/build is nowhere near the NSX's full race config. The vid's purpose is to show just how fucking fast Mines street car is when compared to full blown race cars.
It's fucking crazy fast, being able to pass GT300 class cars, but can't quite hang with the GT500 class and faster. That said, i've never seen an allaround faster street car in my life.
f3000 was there for like 1sec and gone
Right. Which, despite being impressive, does not make it a dedicated race car.
Best Motoring showcased the car in one of their videos. Fuji Speedway, i think. They drove it around one of the tracks and Keiichi Tsuchyia said its so fast its more scary than fun, to drive.
Imagine what they would say about that NSX instead.
NSX flys by @ 1:44
Tsuchyia's driven the NSX both professionally and for non-pro time attacks and such. He's never compared the two though, as the race car is expected to be at a certain level, far beyond that of a street car. This vid shows just how close a street car can get though, with the right shop building it. The tuners at Mines are fucking amazing.
