Actually I htink its chassis with doors, roof, hood and trunk weigh around 400. the biggest piece of steel on the early NSX's was the steering column. I bought mine in 91 and 17 years later I still love it and occassionaly drive it. 11,800 miles on the odo today. Still to this day I love my NSX, I have some plans for it, but its a great car, fun car to drive. Its not a monster like a C6 ZO6 but for a 17 year old car it holds its own and IMO it will be a classic since it represents a turning point for sports cars in terms of quality, reliability, and technology.
