Get the American Rifleman and Americas 1st Freedom. Both are excellent publications.

reccomend American Rifleman... How much better is America's First Freedom?

Only thing I don't like about the NRA is the massive ammount of junk mail asking for more money, but for the cause, I can't blame 'em.

AFF is pretty good. Somtimes you get repeat stories in both, but theres some good info on the political front as well as stories of self defense. Plus just subscribing to it gives them money which equates to helping fight stuff like the SF handgun ban.

What I'm saying is that I've never actually seen them give anything a bad review. I've read articles about pistols that had to be sent back to the manufacturer two or three times just to get them to function correctly and they STILL wouldn't say anything negative about them. Then again, this seems to be a trend in alot of gun mags. At least Field & Stream and Outdoor Life don't seem to cut anyone slack for offering a lackluster product. :o

and my Av is from the newest episode of Family Guy
