Im glad somone is saying somthing about it. I know id be pissed beyond belief if my only means of protection from roving bands of looters/rapists/muggers/murders was taken away.

saying somthing IS doing somthing. Ofcourse I toiled in my sleep about the comments that would come from my cliffs.

    Edit:
    Now if I said

Cliffs: The NRA is taking action blah blah blah

Then you'd be right in correcting me.

    My guess is no also.

The gov can't keep track of anything down there so what kind of system do they have to match confiscated (stolen) guns and their owners? AND where are they going to safely store all these guns where they will be protected from storage damage and rust?

If people do get their guns back they are probably going to be in sorry shape.

Yes. There's video where police went into a well-to-do neighborhood that wasn't flooded and didn't really suffer much storm damage. The residents had stock piled food, water, and guns to ride out the storm/protect their homes from looters. The police entered these houses without a warrant, put the owners in handcuffs, and took their weapons that they legally owned/possessed. Complete disregard for at least two amendments of the Constitution. Those authorities should be put in prison for their actions.

Not to sound like one of those e-thug punks.....but I'm not sure my family would have gone along with that without at least a little bit of resistance :ugh:

Could you imagine sitting there in your nice house, with plenty of food and water, and no way to defend it? Would have been a good time to have a hidden gun vault.

Hit em up on the cellphone right after the conflict.

I think a lot of people feel that way.
