I just bought a little 11 dollar universal IWB holster for when i get my carry permit. But i was wondering if you guys had any recomendations. Links and pictures would be nice.

    I have considered:

Belly bands, anything IWB, The holsters that fit into the small of the back (forget what they are called).

I just want WMD crew opinions i know you guys have tonz of ideas

I like my CTAC. Others don't seem to like them as much. I'd actually like to try a SOB holster too.

http://www.thebeltman.net/ buy a 1.5" belt....no matter how nice you think your department store belt is, its a big piece of crap and a good belt is more important than an expensive holster!

As far as holsters my first choice would be in waist band, and from lou alessi. Second tucker gun leather, third milt sparks, and finally some people like comp-tac, but I'm more of a leather fan.

Stay away from SOB, they're uncomfortable to sit with, and if you happen to trip and fall, that much steel/plastic in your spine can cause damage.

I prefer IWB, I have a HBE Leatherworks Com2 and a Milt Sparks VM-2. For larger guns they're the most comfortable as they distriibute the weight. I also have a HBE Pro-IWB (SS2 style) for my Makarov and it's great for the smaller gun. A belt is really important too, a Wilderness 5 stich is cheap and works good, if you like leather I have an Aker B21, for $35 they're great. Also I hear good things about Rafters leather belts.

IWB holsters suck when you're a fatty though. I want to try an SOB to see if it's any better.

Amber Bach night for me :bigthumb:. My bro left a 6 pack here last week so I figured I might as well drink it. It was my first beer in a week and a half :noes:

I'm not familiar with the C-tac, but does it have a full heigth sweat shield? That's what really makes the difference when my "handles" are sagging.

:werd: I got a 1.5" Bullhide from thebeltman.net, and LOVE it. I'm thinking about picking up another one in horsehide (brown).
