Anybody else get this? Training again after a long break, i noticed that i lose much more form on my punches than I do on my kicks. In fact, no matter how long of a break I take, I pretty much retain almost all of my kicking technique, but I can lose quite a bit of punching technique.

I hear you. I lose my punching speed the fastest, and the accuracy slowly deteriorates.

Well obviously... you have to hold your arms up. Your legs you don't have to hold up. Plus your leg muscles are bigger so they will fatigue less than your arms.

To clarify, I meant that if i stop training for like weeks or months. I lose correct punching form much faster than i lose correct kicking form.

my stand up tends to look crisper after a break but I think that has to do more with me over training when I do train then anything else

punching is more technical imo. my punching's never been good but my kicks aren't a problem.
