I've been looking online for car rig photos all fucking night. Litterally. and I finally just said screw it, I'm going to duct tape my cheapie wal mart tripod to my Mr2 and spin it around in circles.

Seems to work great! haha. Keep in mind it's 4:00AM on the dot right now. I just shot these at 3:30ish so all i did was clone out the one leg of the tripod and adjust the levels a little bit. It's far from a complete work, I'm just excited that i made it work. and:fawk: for the stingy bastards that wont just show me a damn rig!

I was skeptical too, until i pushed down on the end of it and tested it out. After that, i had no doubt it would hold. I used probably 1/4 roll of duct tape after it was all said and done. It was very stable. In fact, i even drove around with it on there at probably 10MPH but the pics turned out like crap because it was bumpy.

I'm going to play with it some more tomorrow i think.

Because i was alone in a parking lot at 4 AM and didnt have anyone with me and when i actually drove the car it vibrated too much to get a smooth shot. I found that if i sat in the car with the engine off, it wouldn't push it's self... :wiggle:
