A few nights ago, I ordered some rechargeable batteries and charger online. Last night, the wife and I had to make an emergency run to Walmart to pick up some water conditioner for our aquarium (we were doing a water exchange and ran out)

So to make the trip worthwhile, we decided to do a little more shopping. I only own two 4gb flash cards and I really could use another one so I drop $70+ on another 4gb card. Something in the back of my mind kept nagging at me so when I got home, I went to my office to check my printed receipts from my on-line ordering spree the other night and sure enough....I had ordered a 4gb card at the same time I bought the batteries. Totally slipped my mind. No big deal as I now should have plenty.

Now it that isn't bad enough, the reason I ordered some new batteries was that after shooting all weekend, I pulled all my AA batteries and started recharging them. After pulling out what I thought were all that I owned, I realized that I didn't really have enough backups for all my electronic stuff that uses AA batteries. Plus I really could use another charger. So after going online and ordering 10 more batteries and another charger, I was rummaging thru my camera bag and what do I find?..... 8 brand new rechargeable AA batteries that I totally forgot I had stuck in there.

My old man memory is shot to hell.

and to top it off...I decided that the Manfrotto camera bracket that I bought a month ago and have never used wasn't going to really do what I want it to do so I bought another type flash bracket.

I think it was a Sandisk extreme. I'd have to pull it out of my camera bag tonight.

You should probably make an inventory of what you have and post it here so we can all drool over your equipment list. Oh, and also so you can remember what you already have.

Not including my old film gear, I just passed the $10k mark. Peanuts really compared to what most pro's have spent. Also, many of the expensive items were purchased used. If I had gone new on all this I'd probably add another $2000-$3000.

What brand AAs are you using?

I've been using the Radio Shack IC3 and Energizer NiMH 15 minute recharable batteries, and they're

Actually I just looked at the receipt. It was $61.99 with tax. I forgot that I also had the aquarium water conditioner on the receipt as well.
