Yes I would consider myself materialistic. I choose to buy expensive things, if someone else doesn't, I really don't hold it against them as long as they take care of themselves...but me personally..I wouldn't be caught dead wearing off-brand shoes or knock offs or something like that....just my preference and I dont force it on anyone

both, finally picking a career, wanting to get my own place. i wasted to much time bullshitting. shit is so ridiculously expensive its not worth paying "premium" price for ripped jeans with holes etc. etc.

i also dont really go out much anymore, just work, spend time with my gf and thats it. my bank account has been growing because of this.

Naw. I never pay more than twenty dollars for an article of clothing. Shoes will always be under $100 and I don't wear jewelry. People who buy expensive stuff are just insecure.

yes and no. i'm not sure actually

i think people that buy knockoff gaudy canal st. stuff are gross

i think it's disgusting when people buy designer shades/belts/purses/shirts/whatever and display them in a gaudy way.. or have huuuuge logos everywhere. basically saying "i have no style, but look at me, im wearing designer clothes ^-^"

    ex.1
    [IMG]

when people wear jean shorts i kinda flip. but i grew up in ohio so i'm somewhat desensitized.

i guess the fact that i make judgments based off clothing makes me materialistic. personally, i'm too broke to buy anything nice or new, but..

Yes I'm fairly materialistic. It's hard not to be lately. You have to buy almost everything. People say you can't buy happiness, but would you be very happy if you were a hobo? You have to be a bit materialistic and buy some things.

not on edge, just curious as to why lame motherfuckers start lame ass threads. you contribute nothing to TSL. no one would miss you if you never posted again. what is the point of this thread? materialistic? does this term even make sense to the people you're asking? if we didn't care what materials the things we own are made from, then we would all be wearing potato sacks. furthermore, in a "materialistic" sense, if our potato sacks were to be torn/stolen/lost, would we then care about them? the answer is yes, if that's all there was.

cliffs: get the fuck out of here

Honestly, man...if you don't like the thread, don't click in it. Simple as that. If the question in of itself bothered you that much, that should have been a sign for you not to click in it. Stop being such a whiney little bitch and quit pretending in being a badass from Plano (of all yuppie places).

Before you post again, get the fuck out of my thread. You don't own OT, nor have I done nor said anything to the point that jacy has felt that I needed to be banned for. Only person being being extremely emotional about things here is you. Stop being more of a female than Jacy is.
