And the factory mags, while not being cheap, are the best ones for the mini14/ac556 unfortunately. All the aftermarkets I've seen/used tend to have feeding issues.

I get aftermarket 20 round magazines for $10, and 30 rounders for $15.

do you have any issue with the 30 round mags? All the ones I've had experience with mags bigger than 10 that weren't factory mags couldn't run a full mag without a few failure to feed issues.

If you don't have any issue, what brand? since I can always use 30rd mags

I'll check the brands when I get home. I used to have a lot of problems with aftermarket magazines feeding, but the last couple years every one I've bought has worked.

they might be good rifles but the amount of modification you can do to ARs from rails to optics to caliber to stocks to grips, etc leave me with no reason to buy a mini-14 :hsd:

Hey, I'm a Mini-14 owner too. I have three Precision Mag Industries 30 rounders and I have no problems with them at all. My dad got these a long time ago, so I don't really know much about them.
