Not losing anymore weight from jogging.

    I started jogging 3 miles a day, 4-5 days a week about 2 years ago. I went from 255lb to 170lb in about a year, but it doesnt seem to be helping me anymore, i still got some fat in the stomach area. What should i do?

    As was said... start using weights. Clean up diet.
    You may just feel like you look "fat" because you have no muscle.

    Mornings:

    Bowl of Cereal w/ Low Fat Silk or Pop Parts
    Diet V8 Splash drink

    Lunch:

    Subway 6 grams of fat or less sub w/baked chips
    or
    PB&J w/ Banana
    or
    Smoked Turkey & Cheese Sandwich when im really poor

    Dinner:
    Subway again or a soy burger or something else kind of healthy


    After workout snack:

    Banana cut into a bowl with mixed fruit on top


    i drink lots of water no cokes.

    Sounds like a lot of carbs and not enough protein.

    i just bought some whey protein and mixed it with water. It didnt taste that bad, thanks guys.

    Go ahead and take out the baked chips with your subway meal for lunch/dinner......they are doing nothing buy adding a few hundred calories.

    Pop Tarts for breakfast? Replace that with something a little healthier, maybe some granola bars or oatmeal.

    With all the subs and cereal in your diet, you are taking in far too many carbs.

    You need to learn about nutrition and your bodies needs. Read the nutrition sticky or be doomed to never knowing why your body looks like shit.

    put some muscle on your frame.

    Fuck the cereal/pop tart

    Get low fat greek yogurt, throw some granola, berries, and splenda in there and you'll have a tasty replacement for cereal that actually has protein in it.

    Greek yogurt is such a fucking staple for a diet I have no idea why people here don't use it, esp. those who hate cottage cheese (like me).

    If you are doing all of this to look good then substitute 75% of your jogging time with lifting weights and clean up your diet like everybody else said. Most joggers look like shit, seems like a waste of energy imo. I'd rather lift hard as shit for 1 hour than jog for 2 hours.
