Anyone ever have this feeling like no matter what you did you always felt unsatisfied with your own work and life. I have been working the same job for a year an half now and i have been trying advanced to new jobs but im getting no where. On top of that my hobbies i feel like im not improving on anything. I have a bunch of money saved up and i dont know what to do with it. I cant get a car because the job i have currently i can't even afford insurance. I dunno, i've been in this same posistion for months now and i just feel like im not improving at anything in life. What did you guys do in order to overcome this ?

Hm. You could try to come up with a game plan. Crunch some numbers, figure out like maybe when you can get a car, what you need to save, etc. Then you have something to look foward to. When you're stuck in the same situation for a long time you just need something to look foward to. You can come up with those things if you just plan a little ahead. Then again, it's not good to live in the future and let the present just pass, but sometimes you have to. You don't want to be caught in monotony, so plan for something that will take you out of it.

You basically need to set goals for yourself and try to strive for them and achieve them. This gives yourself confidence in what you do.

Nothing in the universe can make you happy, exept Loving and helping other people. Like a car needs fuel to move, a soul needs love in order to feel happy. This is why other things like money, houses, work feel absolutely unsatisfying , life is rigged. What you cast on others is casted back at you, therefore if you make other people happy by helping and loving them, the happyness and love will be reflected back on you, making you feel a lot better.

I am satisfied with being content but not complacent. Time for you to take pause and look around. Figure out what will make you content or interested...it's a big world out there with lots of stuff in it. Surely you can find something. Volunteer, take up the bongos, hang glide, write poetry, learn a different language, learn to make souffle...the possibilities are unlimited as your potential.

i agree... and have been in the same predicament a few times...

i've learned that i will probably ALWAYS have this feeling come around every now and then for the majority of the rest of my life... BUT

I have also learned that when that feeling comes upon me... thats when I know that I'm ready to step it up a notch. Step it up, come up with a goal and the plan to achieve it. Whether it be a new hobby, figuring out what's up with your current hobby, being a mentor, invest your money in stocks (and who cares if you win or lose... the point is to learn something).

Also... get out of that mindset that you're not accomplishing anything... thats first thing for sure. Tell yourself everyday that your 1 day closer to achieving whatever it is that you want to achieve.

You have a much of money saved up, but can't afford insurance?
Sounds like you might need to reexamine some of your priorities there (if a car is a priority).
Make some plans and follow through. You'll never feel better if you don't do something about your life.
