not an import, but with the supercharger you might be more help than american muscle section

Ok, i got a Bonneville SSEI.

It's fast with the supercharger but i want to make it faster.

I don't know much about this sort of thing so any advice would be appreciated.

I want to spend under $2000 and get the most bang for the buck, any help?

you can upgrade to a larger used supercharger, and a smaller pulley...
you can use a supercharger off of a lot of various things, its an eaton m90... most people opt to upgrade to the m110 found on a ford lightning ... and they can be had fairly cheap...
and pulleys are fairly easy to find as well.

its a 3.8 engine with forged internals... you're good to go even throwing nitrous on it...

you can also intercool it and various other things if need be.

btw this post would be better suited in muscle because there are far more domestics with superchargers than there are with turbochargers...

and a lot of them know about things like this.

I was looking into putting a supercharged 3.8 from a bonneville with a different pulley and the larger blower into a beretta...

    :o

Getting a larger supercharger is unecessary. Get a CAI, do some mild exhaust work. (i'm not sure if the bonnevilles/park ave's have a u-bend) get rid of the u-bend if there is one and upgrade or get rid of the resonator. Colder plugs, drilled t-stat, and a 3.4 pulley. You should be deep into the 14s. i'm going to look for that bonneville forum i'll post it when i find it

unnecessary, but an easy and affordable swap, so why the fuck not do it.

he'd be better off spending money on a ported intake manifold, headers, tires or gas. I don't know maybe i'm cheap, but he said he wants to get the biggest bang for his buck. I'm sure he doesn't want to spend all of his 2k, but maybe he does :dunno: . What are the advantages of a larger supercharger? (i'm not trying to critisize your suggestion i just wanna know, i'm looking to get a l67)
