Okay so I lied. This really isn't the northern lights as I am from South West Michigan. But this is the only time I'll be able to see it in my back yard in michigan. Anyway, today and tonight was one of the coldest days in years for south west michigan. The precipitation tonight was not snow tonight, but rather very very very small ice crystals. The result? Lights beaming for a REALLY long time in the sky. Enjoy!

You should adjust the levels a bit so you get a black point. Kind of weird to have a picture of night time w/o true black. :hsughno:

try calibrating your monitor.. no black point no care :hsugh:

all I did was shift the histogram so black = black :ugh:

you lost detail in the ground. i would have done basically the same thing except with a layer mask blocking the ground.

im also not very fond of that one car turning onto the highway
