I've always noticed that I'll feel hungry after doing my workout, is that normal? I always eat a meal about an hour after I workout so i dont think its because of lack of food.

No that's not normal, you should wait at least 3 hrs after working out before you eat

my workout usually consists of about 1/2 hour lifting weights and then run 2 miles and 20-30mins on a cardio machine

It is normal to feel hungry and Ceaze was BSing about that don't eat until 3 hours after your workout... try and get some protein right after, ideally.

there's nothing wrong with using fruit as your postworkout carb source, and consuming some of your postworkout carbs as fructose is beneficial

i'm going to start making my postworkout shakes out of whole milk + banana

I don't see how any fructose is beneficial over straight up dextrose
