Ok, here's my question. I want to change normal.dot (the default template that opens up for a blank document). How do I do this?

More specifically, I want the document to start off with justified margins (it's left aligned now) and for the envelopes to have tahoma + small caps for the addresses.

And related to this, I'd also like to change the default bullets. I'd like to have it just use the little square ones at 1/4 inch spacing. Right now it's all crazy and 1/2 inch spacing. I've tried to change this on numerous occasions but it never seems to work.

Anyone know how to do this? Thanks. :)

You should be able to go Open and then just open it, and there might be a checkbox like "open as template" or something that you have to uncheck so it won't create a new document... That's how you did it in the older versions of Word anyway, not sure about the new ones (I use StarOffice now).
