Ok, I am a mom of 3 and weigh about 125 right now. I work out on a normal basis - but hadn't since the end of August and just getting back into it. The last time I was really working out and dieting I could not get my lower stomach to flatten at all, but I had gotten down to 115 for being 5'4". I know I wont ever have a totally flat stomach being a mom, but I almost feel like when working my abs I end up building them out. Doing any type of crunch I exhale as I contract the muscles, but sometimes I feel like I am pushing the muscles out, instead of pulling them in no matter how hard I try. Does that make any sense- if I wasnt focusing on pulling them in would they build out? Any other suggestions to getting that lower stomach flatter?
