I know this is probably a dumbass question, but im in South Carolina. I am looking for an ak, but when you purchase a weapon online, they send the firearm to your FFL. What all does this process entail and how do I find out where my local FFL is?

goto any local gun dealer, ask them what their transfer fee is, and how to go about setting up a transfer. he should give you a copy of his FFL that you will need to send to the seller. the seller will then ship to the dealer. when it comes in, you go in, do any paperwork that is required. bring gun home and watch it shoot babies by itself

I give my FFL the money he buys the gun when it gets here he tranfers it to my name for $20.01

and he insists on the 1 cent I don't know why. Just to annoy people I think.
