Hello, just got my macbook 2 months ago and something has been bugging me and i'm sure there's an easy solution. Do you know how in windows when there's several folders or applications or shortcuts on the desktop you can just kinda select/cycle through them by using your arrow keys you know up down left right? and to launch the application or open the folder once it's selected you just hit Enter/Return? When i do this and hit enter/return on my mac it just tries to make me rename the application or folder. How can i just do something to open the folder or open the application without having to double click the stupid thing? also i already have quicksilver and i don't want to be doing everything that way.

ps i hate that to explain something so simple takes so many words
