    Noob question on bodyfat%/abs *PICS*

    I'm 6'7, 225-230 with 12-13% body fat.

I'm skinny everywhere except for my stomach. When i'm totally relaxed i have a major potbelly. It's embarassingly large to the point that i've already developed a habit of sucking it in on a daily basis. I'm in good shape.. I play collegiate volleyball and we weightlift about 2 or 3 times a week and do ab exercises before every practice. I eat decently well but drink a lot. I'm pretty sure my belly isn't because of my lifestyle.. i've had it since i was little. Someone help me get rid of this damn thing :sadwavey:

    C. Your "potbelly" is a direct result of your lifestyle (mainly your drinking)

People have natural pot bellys.. one my teammates doesn't drink at all and has one.. smaller than mine however

it has to be genetics.. my roommate (teammate) eats like complete shit and never lifts weights and has probly 8 or 9% bodyfat and good/skinny muscle definition.

Organ growth is possible. You're 6'7, that's pretty tall, if your pituitary gland is over active it is probably releasing more HGH than a normal person. Intestines are extreamly sesitive to and prone to hypertrophy from IGF-1 because of the large amount of blood that passes though them every day. IGF-1 is a biproduct of insulin mixing with HGH. That's just my theory, you do look fairly lean so organ growth seems like the possible answer.

it could be that your AB muscles are weak and thin and your intestines are "pushing out". yah all your friends are 6'4 it seems.

It must be just wierd genetics.. because most of my teammates eat worse than me and alot drink just as much if not more and have a nice six pack.. i don't know what to do :wtc:

Drink less, lift more, clean up diet.

Without stellar genetics you aren't going to have a 6-pack without serious discipline and work ethic.

I have shitty genetics, I feel your pain.

I disagree. When you have been fat you're whole life, the skin is stretched to a point of almost no return.

I'm the same way. Skin caliper testing puts me BELOW 10% bf and still have a belly. Its really mostly loose skin, but still looks like a big fat belly. Sometimes genetics suck.

I've got one too, I've just learned to keep my stomach muscles perpetually flexed to keep my organs from migrating outwards. Working on my posture helped me also!

When I let it relax people are like :hsugh:, but when I keep it half flexed it looks fine
