I downloaded the files... But how do I get them to play? Non of the regular players seem to do anything.

You don't mean to "play" the actual torrent files do you? I'll assume you do, though. You need a torrent client for the files. The torrent isn't the "actual" file, but more of an index used to download the real file(s) from numerous peers.

BT is not meant for everyone...

Get a BT client... and if you can't make much sense out of it... then don't use it

    1) Download BT client and install it.
    2) Download .torrent file.
    3) Open the .torrent file in the BT client.
    4) Wait for it to download completely.
    5) Open up the file it downloaded (.mpeg .avi .mp3 .zip or whatever, not .torrent) the way you usually would for that type of file.

the .torrent file tells the software(Bittorrent Client) where to download the file. When you download the .torrent you only have location not the file.
