Noob Progress Pics - How much more do you think I should lose?

    Height: 5' 10"
    Weight: 242lbs
    Jeans: 38 loose fit (fit tight)
    Run: about 100yds then walk 1.5 miles (4x week)
    Jump Rope: about 3 minutes (4x week)

    Weight: 181lbs
    Jeans: 32s!!! (I haven't been here since before going off to school in '87)
    Run: 3 miles (4x week)
    Jump Rope: 10 minutes (4x week)

    No gym, just typical warm up cals (crunches, push-ups, alternating toe touches, jumping jacks and body twist), jumping rope and running.

    I think the biggest factors during my weight loss were:
    1. 0% alcohol
    2. only one diet Mt. Dew a day
    3. 1300 to 1500 calories a day
    4. getting off my fat butt and moving around


    Overall, I'm pretty happy and I feel great. I can play with the kids all day long and not be sweating like a pig while gasping for air. I'm kind of disappointed in my abs though. I weigh less now than when I got out of the military and thought that I would at least have some type of outline of a 6-pack. I'm guessing my age and the amount of sodium I take in have something to do with it. OR, do I still need to lose some more?

    Being the professional lurker that I am and not posting a lot, I didn't realize you were going to be able to click on the pics and get FREAKIN HUGE pics that show my old, hairy ass back with my Hanes sticking out :eek3:

    I'm willing to bet that at your age, your skin is less elastic and all that stuff on your lower abs is extra skin. even if you get down to a really low bf%, you probably wont have the definition you want. the only way to fix that is probably going to be a tummy tuck

    edit - badass though, good motivation for me :bigthumb:
