This past weekend, I bought a used 2000 Audi 2.7T. It's an awesome car, and I am going to wax it soon. I just need clarification in the process of actually waxing the car. The car's current paint job is still shiny, but there is a few scratches present in it, a few of them pretty deep. Is there anyway to get these scratches out?

Also, what should I buy to wax it? I am extremely confused as to the different waxes avaliable.. I am used to thinking that you only had to wash the car and wax it and then be done, but I have read about all the different waxes/cleaners/polishers/glazes, etc.... and I really don't know what to make of them. However, after seeing some of your guys' results, I am sold.

What is the actual waxing process too? What different steps are there? In what order do you put on the cleaner/wax/glaze/polish?

    Thanks a lot!

[Edit]: I'm a dumbass. I missed the product list post.

However, can someone clairfy the process?

    Is it:

    1. Wash
    2. Apply cleaner/swirl remover (for the scratches)
    3. Wax
    4. Polish/Glaze

    ?

No, you would use the cleaner/swirl remover first, then polish, then wax. The wax is always your last step.
