MIL Non-Military forum/thread? v. Police

Discussion in 'On Topic' started by Pen Is Mightier, Jul 28, 2008.

  1. Any kind of forum/thread here on OT not dedicated to the US Military but rather to the US Police? Sorry for barging in to your barracks. :mamoru:

I have lots of friends in the Marines/Army if that makes me any more acceptable to post this.

Teh Barracks is probably the closest thing to what you're looking for. :dunno:

Although Weapons of Minor Destruction comes close sometimes.

    Looking for something specific?

  7. I just wanted to read something. Hah...

Maybe look into what specific requirements they need and things to avoid that would be auto-disqualifications.

So far I've seen they require 20/40 vision (I have 20/15), no drug use except some high school experimentation (that sounds like me), and be able to bench press your own weight and some other (easier) fitness drills. I'm in college right now working on a degree but will probably (80%+) become a police officer after college so I want to look into things I can do now to speed up the process and ensure that I'm a top candidate.

  8. Sweet thanks. I just signed up for a Military (Army) conditioning workout class at school...what should I expect? It's 1 credit and I figure I can always drop if it's lame.

I have lots of friends who are pigs. So IMO, I think it is acceptable.

its weird, the further I get from my hellraising youth the more I hate cops.

when I was actually doing shit that was less than legal I didn't have a problem with them.
