Ok, so I know the whole concept behind FF and non FF rails... And I wouldn't mind swapping my MCTAR-17 for the FF rail version. BUT!

How prone is an MI FF rail to rotating? I saw the 2 notches in the collar portion which 'lock' into the barrel nut -- but if the design is that simple, why dosn't everyone else do that? ;)

And if I keep my non FF rail, how detrimental will it be to mount a light and VFG to my normal accuracy? I'm not building a tac driver, but I'm not gonna make something worse when a few extra bucks would resolve it.

i dont know that you would ever notice the change between FF and not. If you've already got it, don't blow the money until you know that your current set up doesn't work. YMMV
