A&P Noisy autofocus on my Tamron 28-75

    This is really starting to bother me. My Tamron 28-75 f2.8 is really starting to squeal when it's trying to autofocus. Feels smooth and is silent when I'm manually focusing though.

    Anyone else have that problem? I've only had the lens for about 2 months now... Never dropped, never abused. :ugh:

    Those tamrons were known to have soft focus issues and focus issues.

    Send it in for a check up :o

    mines is pretty noisy, and it has a hard time focusing in low light conditions. i think i should send it back... :(

    Damn, I was considering getting one of those too. Anyone else have previous problems/issues with this lens?

    Sure I can hear mine, but it's never been a problem.

    It's not as loud as the sigma 24-70 or my 50 1.8.

    I've never had anybody tell me "god damnit, will you turn down your lens".
