    ISO-1600

What do you all think? No sharpening applied at all. Camera settings are all at 0's ( no sharpen).

    Obviously resized. NO usm.

Good question. I belive they are about the same, maybe 20D pulling ahead by a bit ( Iso3200 on 20D > rebel :mamoru:)

Dont have a 20D so cant test them side by side.

I hear Canon is going to release firmware to boost the 350Ds ISO to 3200. Not sure though. :dunno:

Better in many ways, put a grip on there to make the size reasonable

The D70 kit @ buydig.com is the best price/performance ratio between those cameras

i bought the 300d for $730 shipped with the kit lens...it was either that or the coolpix 5700 that i already had....i now have a 70-200 f/4 lens that i would not have been able to have had i bought the 350d...if you have the funds to get a 350d and a few nice lenses do it, but if you were just going to get the kit, find a deal on an older rebel and get some nice glass

That's what I did. I bought the rebel a while ago but I don't regret it.

What I really want is the 20d just because its more durable and I travel a LOT.

You can get a XT body only for 800 now, but I'd add the grip to complete it. Feels like a different camera with the grip on.
