Best applied on RAW files? Lame on JPEGs?

PP first in LR and save as RAW (if possible) and then reduce noise in NN?

I was under the impression that all PP should be done in RAW.

Also, why wouldn't you run it through NN first, before doing all other PP?

Ah, I haven't used it any time before (all my shots are like ISO 200) so I don't know how it works :hs:

I always did the noise reduction AFTER editing. More than likely you're gonna add noise by way of PP so it made more sense to remove after I've manipulated it. NOW though with the D700, I don't think I ever use NR::end smugness:: haha

:werd: haven't used NN since purchasing the D700 :h5:

d700 is full of win

otherwise, i agree, i'd do it at the very end. i always sharpen and remove noise as a final step
