So, assuming the dems win the election and reinstate the AR ban that we previously had. If i had already purchased a lower, would i still be able to get parts to build the rest?

It's been covered before, and there's no gaurantee. Dems are on the defensive about why the AWB didn't work, and they say it wasn't strict enough before so who knows what could happen.

Do it! Do it! Most addicting thing I've ever down since I shot a match .223 AR last summer.

No one was ever able to explain that to me.... Law-abiding citizens follow the law, and they don't commit crimes. If you make guns illegal, it's not gonna prevent crimes because the people that follow the law wern't the same people commiting the crimes, anyway!

Why won't they ask the candidtates to elaborate on how their bans and other "measures" address that fact?

    www.44mag.com

Okay, NHMTG, or Magpul PMags are the best.

    As for ammo... :(
$375-400 is about the price for 1000rds of anything decent these days.

Seem like nothing about politics makes sense anymore. :hs: The only reason shit like this gets passed is because the media skews things so it can get public support. Nobody wants hoodlums with "high-powered assault rifles" roaming the streets, so logically if we ban the "assault rifles" we can keep our streets safe, amirite?

It's sad nobody thinks for themselves anymore.

and yeah, I'm noticing that on the ammo prices. Do you have a website you order from?

For the price of a x39 upper I'd just buy a whole AK. I think the decent x39 ar mag's are a bit pricey and the cheap ones are pretty iffy.

    question about a potential AWB...

If you have a NFA weapon, such as a SBR on a form 1 with stamp, then would it matter if it posseses the evil features of any potential Assault weapon? I thought i remember reading somewhere that since it's already regulated, it doesn't matter.

It would really depend on how the law was written. As of now, NFA items are no subject to any other laws so if you have a machine gun pistol, you can put a forward grip or buttstock on it without another tax. SBRed are not subject to 922 compliance laws either from what I have gathered.

:werd: I have a NHMTG mag that has been flawless. My bushmaster mags are shitty and have feeding issues. I want to get more pmags but one local shop refuses to do business with magpul ( :hsugh: ) and the other has a shitload of dark-earth and NO ONE wants to buy them and he refuses to order black until he sells the rest. Fuck that. I'm gonna order online soon.
