    gorillamask.net and uniquedaily.com have a link to a thread on my forums..

    and I don't think my server can handle that kind of traffic. :hs:


    any good tweaks I could do in case of a crash or something?

    i'm running vbulletin 3.6.8

    last time I had a digg article go to the front page, the server crashed like 6 times.. that was a long night. :mamoru:

    What kind of traffic #'s are you getting from them?

    I thought you were on a dedicated?

    Block traffic coming in from those sites.

    is it a vps or what cause you can make a change i the my.cnf and in the httpd.conf file

    I've increased the max allowed connections in my.cnf like 5 different times.

    there's a thread on vbulletin.com about optimizing and shit.. and I did all of that.

    apparently not enough.

    i think the server needs to be more powerful. :hs:

    I used to look after some high user forums 1500+ online at a time (PM for details) We run them on Litehttpd with APC php caching Ill see if I still have the config files.
