    :ugh: shit..

    i cant rent games
i cant buy games from retailers on sale or clearance
i cant use my old games

i can only get games from the PSN

lets just say that ill rebuy my games that i want from the PSN

    God of War?
    Crisis Core?
    Lumines?
    Metal Gear Protable Ops?

none of these games are available on the PSN so even if i would rebuy them i cant.

i want the new features like the bluetooth, in game xmb, and the new form factor, and i dont wanna have to carry all my games with me.

i cant keep using my 1000 because A. the battery is toast and B. they arent updating the homebrew firmware anymore so i cant get GT PSP.

i could just upgrade to a 3000 but is it worth it? what am i really gaining out of the 3000 that i dont already have?

im so at a fucking loss with what i should do for a PSP? i miss playing it but i dont know what route to take?

does this news change anyone elses opinion of the system? :o

PSP-3000 just got a price drop in Japan. Maybe it will here as well soon. Either way, the 3000 seems like a way better bet than the Go.

the online reason I want a psp go is because of the ps3 controller support but even then I'll wait till they figure out how to mod the bitch.

Honestly the only thing bothering me about it is the 1gb game limit. I have a feeling j might miss out on some great games because of it. I wonder how large GoW and Crisis Core are. :hs:

I have a feeling we will still catch deals on older games. A lot of PSN titles end up going down in price and they even have sales.

They are more than a gig.

a UMD hold's up to 1.8gb's of data. and I know that those two games are larger than 1gb.

Was this 1gb limit officially announced anywhere? I wonder if it's set in stone, and I winder if that's the reason why GT Mobile has no career mode. :hs:

I've actually never heard about a limit till you just mentioned it.

But I pirate all my PSP games so yeah, I wouldn't really be keeping up on something like that.

wait they are not updating the firmware anymore on the homebrew. So my 1000 is pretty much stuck playing whatever games it can currently play?

Someone will update it, just all the people who originally did it became lazy. So we have to wait for the new nerds to figure out shit or wait for the old faggots to come back.

I wasn't into the whole Dissidia thing...But I can't really find as many worthwhile titles anymore. I've found myself playing my DS more and the PSP just collects dust. I'm waiting for Adventures to Go, and I know there are a couple other good games coming out but it's just not as abundant as before.

So I think this 1GB limit rumor is false. Matter of fact, since it's download only, they could technically make games larger than the capacity of a UMD and probably implement DLC more easily.

    PSP platform is already established.
PlayStation store is already established and will continue to run regardless.

It's impossible for it to fail.

Dissidia looks good to me, though I haven't played it yet. Definitely gonna try it though. :hs: I just feel like there have been a lot of good PSP games either releasing or being announced recently.

    Already have one. :hs:

Dissidia is kind of fun but it takes getting used to the fighting system. I guess I was expecting Tekken. :dunno:

PS3 controller support? what support? It has been hyped up Sonys ass for years now, ex...the PSP would be used as a rear view mirror for GT5. But other than remote play (which isntall that great to begin with), the PSP is useless with the PS3.

You can use a PS3 controller to play PSP games on the PSP Go. The only limitation is it doesn't see buttons that aren't on the PSP, so no right analog stick and no L2/R2, L3/R3. People like to use the PS3 controller because when they're at home they can hook up their PSP to their TV and not have to use the PSP as a controller.
