Found this... what is the consensus of N02 products here?
Not surprising. Although back in the day when NO2 was the "next creatine" and I tried Nitrix, I remember feeling more pumped while I was even doing menial tasks.
never tried it but all literature I've seen on the subject points to it basicly being a placebo
I don't think I'd take something that had such a vague actual effect: 'pump'
you probably get more pump when using them cuz you're flexing a lot more while waiting for it to 'kick in'
Part I (amazing article):
Part II (mostly t-nation ads, I personally havent read it):
I enjoyed the first article but the second basically pissed me off with its "SINCE NO2 DOESN'T WORK , YOU KNOW WHAT WILL? SURGE!!!!" Makes me skeptical about any article they have if they're just trying to plug their product. But NO2 does appear to be crap.
I've seen and felt great results on n0 and n02 products.
no, you haven't
I currently take No-Explode and love the stuff.. you defenetly get a better pump on it. It takes minutes to start kicking in and when your working out I get a way better pump.. I have done a few weeks of on and off to see results.. no change in diet or rest patterns. IMO although a little costly it works great for me.
its how all of t-nations articles are, once you read beyond their product plugs, they have great information. one of the few article sites that cites their sources
yeah that's the reason I trust t-nation. even if they are hawking shit they provide links to reputable sources like scientific journals and shit.
What about effects other than just vasodialation? Hair growth, sexual benefits, tissue growth, white bloodcells...
I get pretty intense forearm pumps when I use it. I get a good pump in general but the forearms are where I really notice it. It got so bad one time I could barely grip the bar when dead lifting. Does it work? Well thats debatable.. my lifts have gone up.. but I am also eating a lot and training hard so it could have nothing to do with the stuff. Will I buy more? Nah.. rather spend the money on something else.
I have one friend who swears by it and another who said it didn't do a thing for him.
I'm sorry but "I think I got a good pump" is not a good enough testimonial for me. The placebo effect is very strong kids, just remember that.
if all the science points to it not doing shit then I run with that.
Ya I agree I did a bottle of NO2 and I felt like I was flexing all day long.
