the dumbell area is a fucking joke at my gym. all the dumbells are mixed up on the rack, very few matching dumbells are racked together. 1/4 of the dumbells are on the ground under the rack. most of the dumbells dont have numbers on them. anyone elses gym like this? pisses my off :sad2:

my university gym is actually really good about this, each dumbell has a labeled spot, so they stay in order.

:werd: fuckin pisses me off. Everything is clearly labeled, but no ones returns them to the right spot. Wish they would at least put up a sign.

That sometimes happens at my gym. I pace back and forth, back and forth then say fuck it real loud and walk over to do something else.

mine was so bad that they posted signs that if it didnt improve they would close freeweights at certain times for the day for 20 minutes so they could rack everything.

never happened, and its still a shit hole. there is one fucker who trys to use 90's-130's for everything and instead of racking he'll leave them on the floor and he'll drag them to various benches and leave them there. if he does rack anything he'll put 120's where the 10's and 15's go :hsugh:

My gym is awesome. Dumbbell rack is about 70ft long and 2 high, all dumbbells are always matched and put away. I've never seen so many dumbbells in my life :big grin:.

We were good on the db's last year, this year it's all gone to shit. 15s all the way down where the 110s are and 75s next to the 10s. It takes me fucking forever to find the right weight...

At KU we have a great student fitness center. Tons of machines and freeweights; everything is always in the correct spot.

 same with mine. Or if they do rack the wieghts, they'll put a 45, then a 35 behind where all the 5's go.
