I dunno. Watching all the old shit that Romero made makes me feel a little dumber inside each time I see it. The zombies look like goth cannibals.

I went to this movie, expecting something as good as dwan of the dead, and I was strongly disappointed.

    First off *SPOILERS*

What the hell was up with the ending?!
"Comon guys! Lets go to canada!!" ::big grin:rives off in big ass dead reckoning firing off fireworks.:: (Oh happy day..)

Did anyone else notice that the zombies seemed to actually downgrade from Dawn of the Dead? I mean, those zombies was RUNNING THEIR ASSES OFF. These seemed that you would be safe if you wer powerwalking away from them.

Going from dawn of the dead, to this... Big disappointment. It seemed as if Romero was more interested in showing off how many different ways he would mutilate a person, than an actual story.

Best character: Pilsberry (Spelling?) He had possibly the best line in the movie, about the car theft. If I ever make a movie, it will definately have a big Samoan.

Worst Character: Anyone who thought that Johnny "Luigi" Leguizamo (spelling again?) was a good idea. Fortunately, the big black zombie made up for "Cholo's" sucking.

    Overall score! 6/10

In terms iof the remakes (Night of the Living Dead remake was pretty good):

    Dawn >>> Day

The only reason I thought that Day was going to be good was because of Dawn... boy was I disappointed.

i fucking loved it but thought it was a bit short. in reading up after i saw it, romero was 5 seconds from nc-17 with the gore so the dvd will be 2 hours long. can't wait!

Dawn of the dead remake was the best zombie movie I've seen. Im not sure why, it just felt more real than all this resident evil and land of the dead crap.

i thought it was really good, except that i thought that the zombies were a little too smart.. i mean, i can see where eventually maybe one of them got a little smarter, however, i didn't really find it convincing that they would all gang up like that. maybe it's just me..

i gave the killing an A+ though.

i thought naming the truck/tank whatever it was dead recogning was a nice touch.

    I liked it.
I thought it was a great mix of zombie movies and Road Warrior.

And one of the most hopeful endings in a zombie movie ever.

And I thought I would hate John Leguziamo but he redeemed himself in the second half of the movie.

he was actually going to name the movie Dead Reckoning but he didn't want to confuse it with the Humphrey Bogart film...so he named the truck that

You do know that Romero had very little to do with the remake of Dawn...
Watch the original Dawn, then you'll see how zombies are meant to be.

i saw it last night and was disappointed as well. The Plot was crap and the zombies became "too" smart.
