Yes, now I know what multimedia rape is. I do have every station, 2 dvrs, and 4 converters. I don't even mind the $$$ but why screw with my service. No warning, just hose my connection like that. Time to start looking for new providers.

Nothing. I did download a ton of stuff the last few days. If I run BT on any PC it kills the browsers on all the PCs in the house. Downloads will work.:wtc:

What router do you have? My D-Link takes a shit and reboots when I have that many simultaneous connections at once. Sounds like you have the same issue. Watch your router's lights when outage occurs...I bet it's rebooting.

well, it could be comcast, but it could also be a lot of things.

try power cycling the modem, reset your router, try diff ports

change your client settings, reduce max global connections, etc.

if xp, try the tcpip.sys hack

Limit your upload speed. I bet it's maxing out, this used to happen to me all the time on my 1mb upload cap.

The big things are reducing the upload rate and the number of connections. If you have either of these numbers too high you'll set off most providers/modems/routers.

what I was going to say.

If you're using all of your upload speed uploading torrents, you don't have anything free to make requests for other usages, or to spit out ACKs when data is received. Try capping your torrent upload speed, or using an auto-adjuster. There are a number of Azureus plugins which will automatically adjust your torrent upload speed.
