Amazing movie. I feel like I have to go see it again, just to let the complexity sink in.

Opened in Denver today, I will see it tonight. Loved the book, especially the way it is unconventional.

Anyone else think Brolin looks like Nick Nolte's son?

I loved it, gave it an "A". I had read the book a couple months ago and was amazed how close the Coens stayed to the source material.
Has to be a top 3 Brothers Coen flick. And in a couple ways, it told a better story than the novel which was a bit vague.

Caveat: This is not a typical Hollywood blockbuster & people behind us were saying WTF about the ending.

So I saw it tonight and it was amazing. The ending was kind of confusing and I wish that Brolin didn't die, he was a bad ass. I gonna go out and get an air gun for christmas.

i saw it yesterday, didn't understand it that well the ending part. And the character development was horrendus. Who was woody harrelson's charachter and who was the guy that hired him...y?

But heres what I did get, Chigure (the killer) was death?? I think because he couldnt die, and he was sometimes very planned with the killings and other times he was more lenient, good movie overall I really liked it!!

Woody Harrelson was hired to retreve the money to its original owner. What I don't get is Tommy Lee's dad, what did it have to do with the movie (significance)? I felt it was kind of random or maybe I just didn't get it.

seen it twice so far, loved it both times. i can also say it was much better watching it the second time around.

As far as the ending goes, i think the sheriff retiring and having those dreams shows that he doesn't want to be apart in a world where there is so much evil. In a sense he gives up in that he quits his job, but in another sense he is just getting away from the evils he would have to face and have no control over. Two important concepts in this movie i believe are 1) you can't stop whats coming, nor can you see what exactly it is that is coming, and 2) money is the root of all evil.

This movie is not an ordinary movie nor does it follow the guidelines of typical Hollywood film. However, i do believe that it is a very well made movie and one of the best i have seen this year.

I had to go see it at the god-damn sundance theather here, cost 8.75 then a 3$ convenience fee or some bullshit. Anyway expensive but worth it, seats where kickass and screen was top tier.

Movie was good, Thought it would have more action but I really liked the characters and the dialouge was great. Tommy lee jones as mentioned was excellent....just perfect in the part.

I think the last scene will leave alot of people doing this face :hsugh: nor really understanding the depth of his dream....it was good, i'll be buying it.

  22. Great movie. Ending was perfect, really. Some old lady in the front of me said "Oh Geeze" when it ending. I clapped. Stayed true to the book for the most part.
